The Gold Awards program was established to recognize those Loan Originators demonstrating excellence in mortgage banking via production, continuing education, professional ethics, & involvement with the association.
To qualify for Gold Awards, loan officers must:
Be employed by an MBAG member company
Earn at least 5 education-based credits through MBAG programs.
Have a minimum volume of $12,000,000 (or 120 units) during a calendar year.
Contribute to MBAG's Good Government Fund (GGF), the Legislative arm of the Association.
Additionally, loan officers going above & beyond the normal requirements may qualify to receive the President's Award if they:
Serve on an MBAG committee.
Attend Lobby Day at the State Capital for that year.
Work one full-day at the annual MBAG Foundation charity event (or make a personal donation if no event is scheduled.)
Fulfill the normal requirements for Gold Awards.
